He-Man’s supernatural strength was being slowly drained by the consistent attack of the  powerful Snakeman, as Kobra Khan’s serpent power seemed to be too much for the Hero of Eternia.  Khan hoisted He-Man up higher with the bearhug, then turned and twisted, driving him hard down against the cavern floor with all of the serpent’s body weight on top.  A series of knee drops to the chest took even more of He-Man’s endurance away.  Kobra Khan kicked the blond hero in the ribs, turning him over to his stomach.  A knee drop to the small of the back was followed by Khan locking in a tight Boston Crab variation, planting his knee against He-Man’s back as he applied pressure with the trapped legs.  The serpent gloated as he held his powerful opponent helpless in the hold.  He-Man fought against the pain, but the toll of the match was beginning to wear out his will to continue. 

“I can feel your puny human body growing weaker, He-Man” hissed the King of the Snakemen.  “Are you ready to submit to Kobra Khan?” he taunted.

He-Man struggled but even his powerful arms could not push his body up off the floor.  “He’s too powerful,” thought He-Man, “I don’t know how much more I can take.”
